Oh what do you know it's Valentine's Day today.
I wanted to write a post about it, but as you can see, someone's being extremely hardworking here. In school since 750am!
(Actually it's because I drove, and the free carparks are full at around 815 latest, but still!!!!!)

Today I was awoken from my nap by a telephone call.
He's my ex-army and ex-nus friend. We don't really keep in contact. =x
He started off by asking if I had graduated and asked me what I'm doing. He told me he has graduated and is working as a financial consultant.
Argh.
He then asked me out. Say wanna catch up catch up.
I feel bad. But I feel it's better not to waste anyone's time. I told him I'm not interested in the policies because I feel that I'm not ready.
He said it's ok just take it as a chance to catch up.
I don't feel like 'catching up'. It feels awkward to me if it's just the 2 of us. I feel awkward even if there's more of us if it's company I'm not comfortable with.
So anyway I said no. I feel quite bad because I realise the importance of keeping contacts with everyone. I feel bad because he's a budding financial consultant and will probably benefit greatly if I 'help' him.
I apologised but he was gracious and said there's no need to. We then hung up shortly.
I really don't know how to be tactful in these situations.

If you pondered over the first sentence, then congratulations I can see you are as passionate as me about the english language!
As I typed I thought about 'awoken' or 'awakened', but after some research I still could not really distinguish the difference and the situations they can be applied in.
