Today's paper.
Qn: Who do you imagine cleans the attic?
Draw a friggin' phrase structure tree and grammatical function tree.
Sigh, out of 5 questions, I can only do these 2. And I'm not so sure about them too. Arghhghghgh.
This module is so cute. There're only 5 questions. The other 3 are super short answered questions. In fact, they draw 3-4 lines for you and state explicitly anything written outside the lines wouldn't be considered. And each question is about 20 marks. So everyone was saying each line is about 7 marks. And each word is about half a mark. Haha! Duh.
I really hope I pass. I don't really know how to do those questions! And you never know what you write is even remotely correct or not. I'm not kidding. It's really fail-able. =(
Today's paper was especially interesting. Because what you write is so little, you spend most of the time thinking, flipping notes (open book exam) and fiddling with your stuff. I can see everything clearly 'cos I was seated at the back. Many left early. I found myself day dreaming away when staring at my notes. I thought of my army days and I only realised I strayed after 5minutes. Heh must have been the thought of Princess P's brother. He gets his first book out today and I'm going over for dinner.
And you know what's so irritating? There's this girl walking about with her super duper almight pointy shoes. *Clog, clog, clog, clog*. To the toilet and back. Clog clog clog clog. Everyone looked up and looked around.
I think these type of shoes should be banned. They're so noisy! Can you walk them silently? You can't! Then don't wear them during the exams! Irritating! You need to work later? Change out! You can't? Then just sit down and don't go to the toilet and don't get out of the hall before time! Am I being unreasonable? I am! But is it 'cos they are really very noisy? Yes!!
Ah I'll touch on something nice. Last couple of weeks Princess P and I caught the Pacifier. and My Jealous Barber. The latter was from the ongoing filmfest, read ongoing, thus I was only able to watch 1. Both films were funny, and the foreign film was refreshing. At first I was a little afraid that Princess P wouldn't enjoy this type of show, but she found it very intriguing and had many comments after that. =)
Speaking of shows it seems that I've known or read about people who went to watch Boeing Boeing. Would love to, but again, when will I convince myself to go having known the price.
And so it's the exam period, which logically explains why I was studying FEROCIOUSLY for the papers and now that the exams are on the way, I bet I will end up typing more on this stupid webby. I love it!
