Wimbledon.
On tuesday I watched Wimbledon. You know, the left right left right tennis movie?
Ok stop giving me that "Why on earth will I watch something like that???" look.
I also had a terrible headache, but that has nothing to do with the movie. Or perhaps it does? Hmmmmmmmmmm..........
Can a movie be that bad? I mean yes I know it's those typical sports movie, with a little romance in between and stuff, but can it be that bad?
Basically it's about this man and this woman whom are both tennis players and how they meet at this tournament and fall in love, and surprise surprise the love affects their tennis form. The star of the show was obviously the man (Paul Bettany), but while you don't expect him to be kicked out of the first round of the tournament, the plot is just so stagnant and unappealing. The romance bit isn't romantic at all too. Amusing cameo by John McEnroe as the commentator, and tiny bits of humour, but otherwise a boring show. And the tennis playing isn't even realistic, really worse than what you expect. Players serve aces like it's so simple, and when a player smashes right in front of the net, the opponent can retrieve it while also right in front of the net! This is tennis, not volleyball!
And there's this grey little bunny in the movie. The bunny has a poor life. It gets stones thrown at it in one scene, and in the next it takes part in a BBQ.
But it's not the one eating. =`(
Bad people. Bad~ people.
Kirsten Dunst seems to have aged. And she's only how old? 22? There's nothing worth praising about the show!
This movie blows.
Princess P has the same afterthoughts. She said we should have watched the 'Art of the Devil' instead. But the timing wasn't right. I guess you have to watch sucky movies to truly appreciate the quality of good ones.
Yup it was THAT bad.
Although it was compensated by a lovely evening with the lovely girl again. Yeah. =)
