Happiness.

So. What IS happiness?
Aristotle said,"Happiness depends upon ourselves."
We tell ourselves to be happy. If people give us lots of presents, we might not be happy. So it depends upon ourselves. Maybe.

A little weird, but heh, true I guess. And it's also why I haven't felt happy since I was 4. Hey wait a minute! I've never pee-ed in my pants my whole life! Really! *stupid dumb childish rolleyes emoticon*
And now!!!! I, famous bullshitter of the century, liar who lies in people's faces...wait.
How come they say that people's eyes will give them away if they lie? Obviously they haven't learnt the masterclass act from yours truly. It's hypocritical maybe, but I dare say it's a good skill. I'm glad I have it in me. Really I think people who can't tell lies or let their body movements betray them are gonna suffer. I'm watching this drama about this married guy who's having an affair with another woman, and whenever there's a conversation involving the woman he can't keep a straight face. He wasn't even questioned, and yet he can't get a hold of himself.
I say Loser! If you can't act, then stay faithful to your spouse!
(Somehow I got a feeling that shouldn't be the moral of the story yo.)
Anyway, I was saying I shall now come out with five points about Happiness.
Happiness! is when you lie on your bed at night reading meaningful smses your friends have previously messaged you.
Which means my handphone inbox has about 50 undeleted messages. This is not even counting 'forwarded picture or text messages' I keep in the archive. And as common sense prevails I keep more smses from the people I like more. Now now don't panic ya'all. There's plenty of lurrrrve to go around.
Happiness! is doing something for people and receiving gratitude.
Which is why I don't feel happy if that someone remains stone faced or doesn't say thanks. Ok you can lecture me on theories about how we should help people from our heart and not expect any appreciation. It's just me then. I like to be appreciated.
Happiness! is watching your rabbit run around the living room and bumping into table legs and sofas.
Which is why I always say carrots aren't good for eyesight afterall.
Happiness! is sitting on the moonlit beach singing songs with your friends.
Which is something I haven't done. Army songs in mosquito dominated sandpatches doesn't count!
Happiness! is holding someone's hands and knowing that she wants to hold yours as much as you want to hold hers.
Which is something that everyone hopes, and is something that I'm hoping too.
These are my wise words. Haha.
